About Us

The program was started over 30 years ago by members of the Ponoka Fish and Game and the Red Deer Fish and Game. The camp has been held in various locations over the years, Pofianga (Ponoka), Burbank (Lacombe), Teepee Village, Breton, and on the Lacombe fish and games Chain lakes site (east of Morningside).

The camp is put on yearly by volunteers. Youth aged 12-15 are welcome to attend the camp. Some of the Central Alberta clubs subsidize the student’s tuition fee please check with your local fish and game association to see if they do.
